Imagine a generation of children rising up in confidence, strength, and assurance that they are accepted, valued and most importantly loved beyond all measure by their Creator, Saviour and Friend. Take a moment to think about what that would really look like - children who know who they were created to be, who stand up for what is right, who speak up for those in need, who recognize that they are never too young to start making a difference in their world.
That is the goal we are heading towards in Faithland Kids 2010.
Every Sunday morning at 10am our Checkpoint kids are learning what the Bible says about them. I AM loved, I AM good with God, I AM made new, I AM important...the list goes on. What powerful statements for a child to hear in a world that often will tell them otherwise.
In The Kingdom, children are continuing to discover their identity as children of the King and even for our littlest ones in Sparkles, our theme for this year is "I AM Wonderfully Made". No child is too young to have the Word of God sown into their hearts and minds.
We are anticipating a great year for Faithland Kids in 2010. What a privilege it is to welcome God's children each and every week and to see God do amazing things in and through them as they grow.
SO...bring your children, your neighbours children, your grandchildren, any children you know that need a bit of fun and friendship to Faithland Kids on Sunday @ 10am - We look forward to seeing you there.
